Downstairs flooded out in Chatsworth, CA

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010

We were referred by Gary Schiff of Gary Schiff Plumbing. The toilet was overflowing throughout the night. The homeowner came downstairs to find her home flooded. We immediately started to mitigate damage with extraction. Next we needed to move all of the homeowners personal belongings out of the damaged area. We carefully moved several items to safety in the garage. We then proceded to remove the damaged building materials. We removed Carpeting, padding, tactstrip, baseboard and drywall and proceded to implement our drying plan. All damaged areas have been treated with an antimicrobial treatment. The job is now starting the 2nd day of drying. Here are some photos of our work.
